The woman wears a dark long sleeve dress with a high white lace collar, her hair is parted in the middle, and gathered behind her head. She wears a ring on her right hand. As she’s holding up the baby, her left hand supports the feet of the child. The oval shaped photo is set in a shiny golden frame. The background is undefined, the surface of the glass has some surface abrasions.
