Portrait of a seated man wearing feathers in his hair

An oval shaped, sepia toned photograph shows a figure seated in a chair at center. He has medium dark skin, long straight dark hair, and he looks at the viewer with a confidant expression. A cloth headband tied around his forehead holds three large feathers in back of his head, and another cloth is tied around his neck. He wears a heavy coat, light colored pants fringed at the sides, and moccasins as he holds a wool blanket around his waist. His hands are crossed in his lap, and his left hand holds a drawstring pouch.
