Full length portrait of a seated man holding a ceremonial wooden pipe

An oval shaped sepia toned photograph shows a man seated on a wooden chair in a carpeted room. He sits facing us, with his head turned slightly to the right. He has straight dark hair, parted in the middle and hanging down past his shoulders. He wears a heavy overcoat with two rows of buttons, over light colored pants and moccasins. His right leg is crossed over his left knee, and his hands are folded in his lap, holding a long wooden pipe.
