Two nearly identical black and white photographs next to each other (for stereoscopic viewing). Two bearded men stand beneath tall trees with a loaded pack mule between them. The man on the left wears a dark hat and clothes and holds the mule’s bridal with his left hand. The man on the right wears a lighter colored hat and clothes and rests his right hand on the rope securing the mules load. Each man holds a stirrup in their free hand. The head and antlers of a dead deer peek out over the top of the bundle on the mule.
