Descriptions Description Bowl-shaped cup with one strap handle attached from rim to midsection; coarse buff earthenware with geometric decoration painted in black slip. Xindian culture. From the upper Yellow River valley region; Gansu, Qinghai, or Ningxia province. Commentary Compare to: Cup of the same form but with different painted designs unearthed from a Xindian site in Minhe county, Qinghai province, now in the Qinghai Provincial Museum.
