Description
Obv.: Three-fourths bust of Justin I wearing helmet with plume and diadem, tunic, cuirass and paludamentum. With r. hand he holds a spear behind his head; on l. shoulder, a shield with the device of a horseman spearing a fallen foe.
Rev.: An angel facing, wearing tunic and pallium; in r. hand, a long cross; in l., a globe-cross; in field at r., a star.
