Obverse: Classical female draped figure with arm outstretched and holding a 2-handled cup in the other with temple in background and amphoras and jars to left and small gothic(?) building; "REPUBLIQUE FRANCAISE/ MUSEES NATIONAUX"
Reverse: Around border in caps: "AUX GENEREUX DONATEURS LA REPUBLIQUE RECONNAISSANTE"; olive (?) branches forming a diamond surrounding a raised plaque incscribed, "EXEMPLAIRE/DE COLLECTION' in centre
