2005.180.6: The Guards of the Rose Garden
PrintsThe print shows a range of five mountain peaks with male faces, each of the faces have wavy strokes of white descending from broad noses. Each mountain a gold band across the forehead below a ragged uneven peak. The fourth peak from the left is framed by two-pointed white implement on staffs. In the lower left corner is long multi-story building on a green ground. Across the white foreground to the right is a partially legible handwritten message in French.
