2005.288: Old Battersea Bridge
PrintsWe see a long, arched bridge over a still body of water. Several columns of many slender vertical posts support the bridge. Each column has many horizontal beams around its exterior. In some areas the horizontal beams are unevenly spaced. Many pedestrians walk along the deck of the bridge. There is a high railing with crisscrossed beams along just the center portion of the bridge. Mossy vegetation appears to be trailing from the bridge’s underside. Just beyond the bridge is a small sailboat. Further back is a shoreline with buildings.
