2005.287: Jo's Bent Head
PrintsA young woman sits in profile looking right and down. Her head is drawn in relatively fine detail, but her body below the neck is not. It is represented only by a few lines showing the curve of her back and a few lines outlining her legs and the hem of her dress. The woman has long wavy hair that falls against her back. Some shading near her chest suggests that her hands may be clasping an object there, but it is hard to determine due to the lack of detail. Vertical lines shade the area behind the woman’s head.
