Industrial Problems, Coöperation: Italy. Milan. Coöperative Stores: Coöperative Societies, Italy: L'Albergo Popolare or Peoples' Hotel of Milan. This is a men's lodging house owned by the Societa Cooperativa Alberghi Popolari - after the model of the Rowtan Houses in London, Eng. It was opened in 1901. In 1906 the average number of inmates per night was 517. Common rooms are provided for smoking and reading. Its library has over 1000 volumes.
