A man in a suit and tailcoat sitting in a chair

Soft black lines depict a man on a sheet of cream colored paper, with a second narrow strip of paper attached and visible along the bottom of the piece. At center, the man sits on a chair, leaning back with his right elbow resting on a counter behind him, where his top hat lies. He looks at the viewer, bending his head forward with his left hand behind him on his hip. He wears a bow tie, a vest and a long dark overcoat. At lower center, his right foot points toward the viewer, extending onto the narrow second strip of paper.
