Portrait of a man with a beard and mustache

A head and shoulders portrait of a fair skinned man, is rendered with blocky, individual brushstrokes. He is shown facing us and looking to the right, his face made up of small swatches of pinks and tans, with pale green, gray and brown shadows. His neatly trimmed beard and mustache are dark brown, and his eyes almost black. He wears a high collared white shirt and a gray overcoat, shaded with brown and green. The background is a mottled blue-gray with lavender touches.
