Descriptions
- Description
- Small square catalog. Turquoise and yellow cover with white type. Very little text: only a brief statement from Larry Aldrich, president of the board of trustees, announcing this as the Museum's seventh annual show; a list of artists; and a page or two for each artist thereafter, with one pictured work and the titles and dimensions of the other one or two pieces hung in the show. No bios, and only one photograph of an artist. Wilmarth had three pieces in the show itself, _Double Drawing_ (1970), _Memory of Barcelona_ (1970; seen in catalog), and _Schottland's Second Slope_ (1971). The other artists are: Richard Anuszkiewicz, Anne Arnold, Helene Aylon, Jake Berthot, Rosemarie Castoro, John Chamberlain, Fred Eversley, Manny Farber, Sam Francis, Ray Johnson, Lila Katzen, Forrest Myers, Doug Ohlson, Claes Oldenberg, Herbert Perr, Stephen Posen, Peter Reginato, Garry Rich, Jay Rosenblum, Lucas Samaras, Herbert Schiffrin, Alan Shields, Jack Tworkov, David Von Schlegell, and Jack Youngerman. Published by The Aldrich Museum of Contemporary Art in Ridgefield, Connecticut.
