For much of 2021, the Harvard Art Museums continued to offer rich public programs, close-up encounters with original works of art, and hands-on experiments in art making—and we did all of it online. In September 2021, after being closed to the public for more than a year, we were thrilled when the time came for us to safely reopen our doors to visitors. While our programs remain virtual for the time being, there’s an exciting new energy as we watch our physical spaces spring back to life.
The video above gathers some of our favorite moments since reopening, to focus on that joy of seeing all of you in the galleries once again. And don’t miss the sneak peek at some of what’s ahead in 2022.
Our doors are open, and we hope to see you here in person soon. In the meantime, wishing you a healthy and happy new year!
