To the right, a demon looks on at the scene from being a column. In the background, an image of the crucified Jesus Christ floats behind the woman and man, blood spouting from a wound in his side and pouring onto the infant’s head. Other Biblical figures float in the background, including several angels, God, and a dove that shines light onto the infant.
