In the bottom left corner, a young woman holds a sculpture of a female form. In the bottom right corner, a young woman holds a colorful red and pink abstract painting.

Tour

Join Student Guides and Student Board members in the Class of 2021 for a special tour in their honor! Each Student Guide will talk briefly about a work of art that won’t let them go. Vlad Batagui has selected the marble sculpture Torso of a Young Girl by Constantin Brancusi; Kaitlin Hao has chosen a bronze fang ding (ritual food vessel); Sophia Mautz will talk about the oil painting Red and Pink by Georgia O’Keefe; and Mei Tercek will discuss the Dvaravati sculpture Standing Buddha. There will also be space for conversation, questions, and celebration of their work at the Harvard Art Museums.

This interactive tour will take place online via Zoom. To join, click the following link: https://harvard.zoom.us/j/93203537725 (free admission; no pre-registration required).

These tours, designed and led by Harvard undergraduates from a range of academic disciplines, focus on objects chosen by each Student Guide and offer a unique, thematic view into the collections.

The Harvard Art Museums are committed to accessibility for all visitors. For anyone requiring accessibility accommodations for our programs, please contact us at am_register@harvard.edu at least 48 hours in advance.
