Natalia Ángeles Vieyra specializes in the art and material culture of the United States, Latin American, and the Caribbean. At the Harvard Art Museums, she is developing innovative strategies of incorporating Latin American and Caribbean art and material culture into the permanent collections. Before joining the Harvard Art Museums, she worked on and curated exhibitions at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in Philadelphia and the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam. Her research has received support from the Terra Foundation for American Art, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and the Smithsonian Institute.
