1922.141: Actor Onoe Matsusuke I as Asahina
PrintsA portrait of Onoe Matsusuke I in layers of yellow clothing which features a circular design of a bird with a long neck. He holds a white fan down at his side, otherwise his body is covered by his clothing. He has stripes of yellow paint over his eyes and forehead. The top of his head is bald and his facial hair grows down towards his mouth. Behind him there is a sheathed sword pointing upwards out of his clothing. There is an inscription along the upper right of the image in Japanese script.
