Entering a Japanese room from the right we see a large window, and green tatami mat on the floor. The low black wall under the window has a white bird open-wing pattern. On the sill, a towel hangs off edge. The open window has thin vertical wooden bars and two horizontal bars in center. The middle ground is rendered in brown, an open field and bare trees, a small village is seen below. A flock of birds fly away from Mt. Fuji. Red glow along the horizon into blue sky. Artist seals and signature along edges.
