The woman’s kimono is slipped off her left shoulder, her left hand holds up a decorative gold on black card-sized mirror. She’s fair skinned with delicate facial features and black hair curled up into her head with a small comb. She sits up straight with knees against her chest in three quarter view towards the left. The kimono is a dot patterned light red with decorative white flowers on yellow and green boarder. Background is undefined neutral color of the paper. There are a few lines of vertical calligraphy on right, and a small line on lower left.
